New Premises
Our new surgery was officially opened in October by Patrick Mercer, our MP for Newark and we are delighted to be able to welcome our patients to this wonderful new building. We are particularly grateful to our patient group during and immediately after the move for helping patients to find their way around the new building and up into the reception area. We also had some useful comments and suggestions from patients which were collected and handed to us by the group, some of which we have already put into place e.g. chairs down in the foyer for those waiting for taxis.
There are one or two points about the new surgery that it might be worth mentioning:
1. There is a box just inside the main door if you wish to post repeat prescription requests or hospital letters without having to go up to the second floor.
2. To save queuing at the counter, please use the touch screens to book in when you arrive for your appointment.
3. If you have an appointment, you will find the nurses on one side of the waiting room and the doctors on the other. If you are not sure before you set off, please ask at reception. It is a long way round if you head off in the wrong direction.
